Sonali Naik QC

Sonali is a fantastic lawyer who has shown exceptional dedication to legal aid work, particularly in the field of immigration and asylum; her professional specialism and commitment could hardly be more important. But above and beyond her ‘day job’, Sonali gives significant time to Liberty and is particularly passionate about championing diversity within the organisation and its governance.

As the first BAME woman chair of Liberty, a role she took up this year, Sonali is now in a position to offer even greater support, inspiration and role-modelling to other people of colour who aspire to, and deserve, positions of responsibility.
