Abimbola Johnson

Abimbola specialises in criminal and regulatory defence where she is particularly highly regarded for her handling of vulnerable clients and her ability to grip complex and difficult legal arguments. Abimbola contributed to the consultations and statements to the MoJ concerning the most recent legal aid cuts, emphasising their impact on the junior bar and those from non-traditional backgrounds.

She serves on her Chambers’ Management Committee as the E&D and Junior Tenants’ Officer establishing links between Chambers and social justice and diversity initiatives. She is a school governor, a mentor, and regularly participates in access and outreach programs.
