Natasha is the co-founder and Chair of the Black Barristers’ Network (BBN), launched in 2019 to promote the growth of Black barristers through support, visibility and community outreach. She is an elected member of the Bar Council sitting on the Equality, Diversity and Social Mobility Committee and the Race Working Group. She also sits on the EDI Committee at Lincoln’s Inn.

Natasha dedicates a significant amount of time on tackling racism in the profession, being the driving force of BBN’s work and making substantial contributions to achieve equality. Natasha won Highly Commended Future Leader: Diversity and Inclusion at the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2020. Natasha is passionate about eradicating violence against women and represents the interests of victims of domestic abuse, including FGM and forced marriage. She sits on the Justice Working Party on Improving Access to Justice for Separating Families, ensuring that minoritised women’s voices are heard.
