Linklaters is committed to ensuring that its people are free to live and work in a supportive and safe environment, including in their homes. In August 2020 the firm introduced a new, meaningful policy and package of support for employees in the UK living with domestic abuse. In addition to the package of available measures, the firm also put in place a training programme to help people to spot and address signs of abuse, even whilst working remotely.

Linklaters is working with Safe Lives, the UK charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, to provide training for the HR team and people managers on how to spot the signs, have conversations and signpost support for those living with domestic abuse.
