Securing equality, diversity and inclusion are key values for Doughty Street Chambers. Doughty Street Chambers operates a Positive Action Strategy to improve equality in the workplace, focused on systemic improvements and training or upskilling initiatives across all aspects of recruitment, management and retention of diverse talent.

Chambers runs a number of initiatives to promote inclusion, such as Doughty Street’s Anti-Racist Book Club; the annual International Women’s’ Day conference; OUTy Street’s LGBT+ group activities, and working groups whose activities and collaborations inform Chambers’ Positive Action Strategy, such as the Disability Committee.
